2 years…2 years of new friends, fun times, lots of laughs, SRC meetings, community projects, and then of course there was class, studying, homework, practical hours – but a wonderful 2 years that I will never forget.
I was very fortunate that for the practical component of the Tourism Diploma, I was accepted into the apprentice programme for Sanctuary Retreats and spent 6 months there gaining work experience.

On completing my apprenticeship I was offered a job as a logistics consultant, and so started my career in the world of travel. I have now been offered the position of Sales Consultant. This is a dream come true and is taking me one step closer to my goal of Sales Manager for Sanctuary Retreats.

I feel I owe a lot of my success to UniCollege. Apart from the qualification itself, they taught me people skills, teamwork and taking initiative. Learning all about fares, cruises and destination management assisted me in understanding how the industry really worked, as well as getting to know the different countries.

The lecturers all helped me and were very supportive throughout my course, offering guidance and a personal touch to their teaching. I received an education both in Tourism and life at UniCollege.
