Being able to successfully manage finances is one of the most sought after talents worldwide! A finance qualification is useful across the entire business spectrum, and in any sector, meaning you can apply for private sector, government and international careers.

This course will equip you to perform the accounting function in small organisations and provide accounting support in larger companies.

We’ll teach you how to record company financial transactions, understand costing, work on computerised financial accounting systems, create financial reports for business decision making and manage administrative tasks such as budgeting, payroll and tax transactions.

Accreditation and Certification

National examinations are set and administered by the DHET. Successful students are awarded the following certificates issued by the DHET:

  • National Certificate: N4 Financial Management (SAQA ID: 66874)
  • National Certificate: N5 Financial Management (SAQA ID: 66954)
  • National Certificate: N6 Financial Management (SAQA ID: 66998)

Once you have successfully achieved all three N4–N6 certificates and have worked for 18 months in a financial environment, your logbook is submitted to the DHET. On receiving DHET approval, you are awarded the highly respected National N Diploma: Financial Management (SAQA ID: 67040).
